Mediterranean Sea, Composition IV
White landscape
- 175 x 120 cm
Someone once told me a story I'll never forget, a very useful story to carry in life. Imagine you are in a organized, peaceful Japanese garden, it is mesmerizing by its beauty and harmony. But suddenly while you walk, you see a disturbing pile of waste, right there, on the white pebbles in the middle of your path... Yes, an unexpected disappointing scene. Right there comes the question: either you choose to focus on that useless waste and get more and more frustrated about the situation, OR you can keep your lovely walk going with your mind in the harmonious garden. This can be applied to life, anytime, anywhere, where big decisions are not involved, but rather for the small insignificant obstacles we don't need to spend energy on. I hope it helps you, as it is helping me.

This artwork is the Mediterranean, the emotions that could be extracted from being a year feeling enclosed and the actor of an unbelievable thriller, which is this pandemic we are all in, together. A change of perspective is always refreshing, abstract can mean one thing one day, another thing the day after. It allows us to be adaptable. As we are meant to be.

The coral in the Mediterranean Sea is surrounded by unique and endemique species, and the flora flourishes all around this specific ecosystem, as all over the world, when the seas and oceans are healthy. We all thrive when our planet thrives. Blue is a calming serene color, with a depth that reminds us of life, marine life, and it's harmony.
